750 Pages? TL;DR

March 24, 2026 • James Baker

A book with 750 pages will remind anyone of a dry college textbook. This is not one of those books. Do you ever use 100% of something you learn or even a software package? No. Same goes with this book. On average, any given person will only use 300 pages, give or take.

If you’re thinking about mixing AI with Scrum or any other project management framework without a plan, you are asking for problems.

I read in a chat regarding the book, “Why would I buy a book when I can simply find a majority of the information found in the book on the Internet for free?” My response was simple. “Your time is valuable to you and your team and I respect that. If you have everything in one place that you can work through either through paperback or Kindle versions then you’ll save yourself days or weeks searching. AI can help you assemble some of the information but once again, it’s going to take you hours or days, if not longer, to assemble what this book can do for you.”

And remember, yes there are 750 pages, and some will state, too long, didn’t read (TL;DR) but that includes references, templates, and examples of job descriptions and software stacks suggested based upon your group’s discipline. Rest assured, you will not read all cover to cover, but the information is there should you need or want it. The whole idea of the book is to help you, not put you to sleep on the job.
